Why Visit Thalaiyar Falls?

Also known as Rat Tail Falls due to its slender shape, Thalaiyar Falls is the highest waterfall in Tamil Nadu and one of the tallest in India. Cascading from a height of around 975 feet, it's a majestic sight nestled deep in the Palani hills.

The falls are mostly viewed from afar — especially from Dum Dum Rock — but adventurous trekkers can take a challenging route to the base. It’s a serene and awe-inspiring spot for nature lovers and thrill seekers.
